Each student will report to the class on a successful public relations campaign, based on entries into the PRSA Silver Anvil competition. 1. Find a Campaign Case Study at prsa.org, which includes the two-page synopsis for each competition entry. 2. Do Your Research - Google the organization/topic and find any other information about the organization and program. (Who is the organization? What do they do? Did you find out anything new about this situation, or any follow-up?)

Write a one-page personal evaluation of the campaign and submit it along with a copy of the campaign synopsis from the website, and any other information you have located. 3. You will give a 10-minute oral report/ PowerPoint to the class. Your grade for this project will be based on the following criteria:

Background & analysis; discussion of research. Who is the organization? What is the Situation? Types of research used?

Discussion of strategy. (Who are the publics?) (Was this program for Awareness, Attitude or Action?) (Did you find a Position Statement?)

Discussion of tactics and campaign evaluation. (What tactics did they select?)

What you learned; personal evaluation of campaign.

Writing mechanics, (Grammar); oral presentation; PowerPoint support.
