Write a one page double spaced reaction paper to the play.
This reaction should truly be just that - your reaction to the play. Do NOT write a summary about the play. Think about the play in terms of the time period and form an opinion about the play in general. Things to think about are: What surprised you, if anything? How did you react to the ending? What characters could you relate to? What do you want to see happen to Iago? How do you feel about Othello?
Do not think about these as a list of questions to be answered, but only as questions to get you started. This reading reaction is truly to get your reaction to a play as tragic as Othello. As always, use examples from the play to support your opinion.
