Homework: Job Requisition Proposal
Locate a civil service website for your city, county, or state that provides job descriptions for positions available in public service.
Select one position, such as police officer, social worker, park ranger, accountant, etc.
Write a 700 to 1,050 words job requisition proposal for the selected position. Your proposal should include:
1) The qualifications needed for the position
2) A detailed plan for recruitment, selection, compensation, and retention
3) Justify the decisions that informed your recruitment, selection, compensation, and retention plans using your textbook, peer-reviewed research, and other sources.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
