Background: The court system is comprised of multiple entities. Breaking down the entities and their role in the judicial process is important for criminal justice employees to understand.
Review federal, state, municipal, and local judicial websites.
Write a 900 to 1,050 words paper that includes the following:
A. A descriptive analysis of your state's court system beginning with the lower court through the state supreme court, including an explanation of each court system's functions and how judges are selected
B. A descriptive analysis of the federal court system beginning with the federal district courts in your state through the federal appellate court and the U.S. Supreme Court
C. An explanation of the impact of technology on court proceedings of either state or federal courts
