For your summative homework, you complete the legal section of a business plan. Include the following:
o A defense for the form of business entity for the company you've chosen, the number of owners, and other factors.
o An explanation of liability with federal, state, and local taxes and how you will protect the business and yourself (if sole proprietor).
o An explanation of any patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and IP.
o An explanation of any contracts that will be needed.
o An explanation of how you will comply with insurance required by law-social security, unemployment, and worker's compensation.
o An explanation of how you will protect the business again the four general categories of insurance-property, liability, earnings, and health/disability/life.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
