Give a plot outline. Note, this play response SHOULD NOT be a plot summary in its entirety, so keep this part brief. You can provide one sentence to identify:

- What are some of the ironies in the play (dramatic irony = when a character''s words and actions are clear to the audience but unknown to the character)

- What qualities do you see in Oedipus in the beginning of the play?
- What is Oedipus'' tragic flaw?
- What admirable trait is revealed about Oedipus'' character in the scene where he discovers the full truth about himself?
- Does the main character experience change throughout the play? If so, how and why? If not, why not?
- What is the role of the chorus?

- What was the playwright attempting to do? And did he succeed?
