Compare and Contrast Essay
Write a compare and contrast essay on way you learned a second language with some of the strategies described in How to be a successful language learner You may want to quote from the text itself. Use either a block pattern or alternating points pattern to organize your essay. Make sure your introduction includes a thesis statement. Write 500-750 words.
Your essay will be graded according to the following rubric.
-The essay begins with an introduction that includes a thesis statement.
-The body of the essay is well organized, and the main points are clear.
-The paragraphs are developed.
-There is some coherence among the points.
-There is a short conclusion.
-The essay has the correct format.
-The wording is clear and the writer uses effective vocabulary.
-The grammar, spelling, and punctuation are correct.
