SCHOOL SCENARIO INSTRUCTIONS
All the elements listed below the activity option must be completed. Complete the activity based on the philosophy assigned to your group at the beginning of the course. (Assigned philosophy is Reconstructionism/Critical Pedagogy Teaching Tool),
Make sure to include a current APA title page with an appropriate title that includes the activity you have chosen and your assigned philosophy, your name, and your institution.
Activity Option : Parent-Teacher Conference
• Envision that you are a teacher responding to a VIP (Very Irate Parent) in a parent-teacher conference. Both you and the school where you teach fully adopt your group's assigned philosophy. The parent, however, adopts an educational philosophy in opposition to yours and your school.
• Write a brief statement explaining the complaint that the parent has against you and your approach to teaching. Ensure that it represents an opposing view to your group's assigned philosophy.
• Write a response you would give to the parent's complaint. The response must align with your group's assigned philosophy.
