Apply legal and ethical parameters to nursing practice. Task description Complete the short answer question task on Moodle. This consists of 8 questions. The required word count for each question is 250 words. For each question you are required to discuss the following
1. A brief discussion on the relevant legal and ethical considerations for that question
2. State the specific legislation and/or legal provisions relating to the question
3. A brief discussion on the practical considerations in relation to your work as an Enrolled Nurse in that situation
Question 4: You are working in an acute hospital and are asked to do a procedure. The hospital has a policy that only Registered Nurses can do that procedure.
Question 5: A work colleague has posted comments about an incident with a patient online.
Question 6: You are asked to physically restrain a known mental health patient who is attempting to self-harm.
Question 7: A patient has phoned and made a complaint that they have had the wrong test performed and is requesting access to their patient notes.
Question 8: A colleague continues to make sexual advances towards you despite being asked to stop on several occasions.
