Your task is to choose three of the following assignments to complete:
Write a goodbye/love letter from Ophelia to Hamlet.
Choose two pivotal moments in the play and write two separate diary entries written by Hamlet from his perspective (one diary entry for each pivotal moment in the play). (½ page each, single spaced)
Create an obituary for any two of the many deceased characters in the play.
Choose one of Hamlet's famous soliloquies and rewrite it in modern English.
Create a cast of characters (dramatis personae and their role), along with the actors you would choose to play those parts. You may choose actors from any historical period, past or present, or from any culture, but explain your choices.
Write a brief commentary using at least three direct quotations from the play to explain how your director has chosen to portray Hamlet.
