Assingment 1:
BRIEF OF THE PROJECT:
The report investigates the global market potential for the Mercedes Exec Mobile Office in the public/private transportation industry. The initial focus will be the United Kingdom, Continental Europe. The report considers various stakeholders, and each of their vested interests in the life cycle of the project.
PART 1 Introduction:
This must include a background of the mobile office industry, it can include any type of idea that revolves around satellite offices or maybe limousines. However the explanation must be a general concept and then discussing how the idea may become a viable real product.
PART 2 Reflective account or conclusion:
This must be researching how other university student in the world performed in an internship work environment and the challenges that they faced. As well as how other business men dealt and faced problems in a real work environment.
Assignment 2:
To write a background about the Mobile Office industry within the van or automobile industry. Providing a detailed theoretical research about creating a Taxi that is an Executive Mobile Office which will be sold into the UK Taxi and Private sectors.
Objective: The researched information will be used to design, develop and produce a premium level, 5 seater Taxi or private vehicle. It will also be used to build a financial forecast or a future project.
Research Plan: (Part 2)
This states how the research was conducted. It should be approximately 2000 words in length. This section is often one of the weakest in reports, so be careful on how you structure this. They can often be routine and simply "go through the motions". The major source of weakness is that, very often, the chosen research methods are not linked together into a research strategy linked to the work being undertaken (Mentioned above). The plan needs to be justified in terms of the research questions posed (In this case the Executive Mobile Office) and not for its own sake.
