Mutual Fund Evaluation
1- Choose a mutual fund family such as Vanguard, American Funds, T. Rowe Price, and so forth. We are using Vanguard and my part is on Fund devoted to retirement investing.
Identify one mutual fund from that family for each of the following categories:
• Actively managed common stock fund
• Fixed income fund
• Balanced fund
• International fund
• Fund devoted to retirement investing
Write a 350- to 700-word mutual fund evaluation for each mutual fund using worksheet 41 ("Mutual Fund Evaluation") at the end of Chapter 13 as a guide/tool (You need not submit the worksheet). Include the following in your evaluation for all 5 funds:
• Analysis of the characteristics of each fund
• Recommendation of the type of investor to which each fund is suited.
