Nationalism vs Civilizations paper
Write a 2-3 page (750-1000 word) essay relating the first few weeks of our course materials to the topic of your research paper. You will need to explain which state and non-state actors are involved in your topic, which of the theories we've discussed best helps to explain what happened or is happening, and which of the many factors (culture, politics, economics, globalization, etc.) we've covered have had an impact on your topic. This will help me see that you understand what we've covered up until week 4 and that you are able to apply the concepts to an actual topic/issue. Papers should be double-spaced, Times New Roman font size 12, with a one inch margin all around. APA format! Paper must have title page and reference page. 2-3 pages in length excluding the title and reference page. Citations should be provided from our course materials only. No outside sources should be used since this should be your own application of course materials to a topic/issue.
