Write a 10 page paper how you as a human relations

Human resources experts report that the following are the major human relations issues with multinational corporations:

• The growing role of women has been through technological change and globalization. Worldwide, 59% of all businesses in the world include women in senior management positions, although women fill less than 19% of all senior management positions. Worldwide, more and more women are starting their own businesses.

• Immigrant labor, often unskilled laborers, within and particularly between nations has become an increasingly salient issue in terms of HR macro policy.

• Child labor is a major issue in many parts of the world. At least 1 out of every 6 children between the ages of 5 and 17 work in streets, mines, rock quarries, or as maids in homes.

• Forced labor, which is most common in South and East Asia, northern and western Africa, and parts of Latin American, may affect as many as 27 million people today.

• Attainment of skilled labor is difficult in many nations. Many rural workers are urbanizing and must be taught not only job skills but also the concept of time.

• Training. The training of employees and managers varies somewhat, depending on whether the candidate is from the home country, host country, or a third country.

• Expatriates. An expatriate is a person living outside his/her home country. There are many issues with expats such as family displacement, children, two-family careers, etc.

• Compensation. Exchange rates and inflation must be taken into account.

• Risk Management. Protection of the employees and assets of the firm.
