Write a documented argumentative essay based on your book's theme. You MUST conduct research for this assignment. For example, if you read Fast Food Nation, you might be interested in researching diet in America. This may lead you to a discussion of vegetarianism in our country. Once you have your topic, you want to form a thesis. For example, you might say, "Many of America's social issues would dissipate if American citizens reduced their meat intake." (You may not use the previous statement as your thesis.)
Please review these steps before writing: 1.Consider the social issues presented in this book.
2.Choose one issue of particular interest to you. (Each book has many issues. Narrow your focus here!)
3.Research this issue.
4.Form a thesis that enables you to argue your side of this issue.
5.Write your essay using at least three documented sources. Please use scholarly sources.
6.Include MLA parenthetical citations AND a corresponding works cited page. Please refer to module 1 to review MLA format.

My book was "Three Cups of Tea" by Greg Mortenson...basically turning hardships into opportunities.
I just need the outline for the essay including what and where I need to cite... and of course the websites cited.
