Each week there will be a media assignment consisting of an article, a video, podcast or other media. You must review this media and integrate and synthesize its content into the week's discussion
Discussion 1
Would you prefer to deal with a college-educated police officer or with one who has no higher education? Explain your reasons. Also do you think that police officers should possess a four-year degree as an entrance qualification? If so, please explain why. If not, why not?

For this week's discussion discuss whether the police "code of secrecy" can ever be overcome so that acts of misconduct and corruption can be revealed and properly investigated.
