Would Freud and King debate the idea that the relation between different races, majorities and minorities, oppressors and oppressed, masters and slaves, hosts and refugees, is inherently a process of integration and assimilation, where one group loses its identity for the sake of equality, or a semblance of equality? Might either or both men say it is possible for a minority group to integrate and assimilate in a dominant culture, maintain its identity and be equal? Use both exhibitions.
Can one break an unjust law lovingly? Can civil disobedience (MLK's direct action) achieve the desired result non-violently? Can Jesus' teaching of compliance - turn the other cheek - be used to combat oppressors? Use both exhibitions.
