Acme, Inc. is the worldwide leader in producing Widgets. You have just been promoted to the network security department. Part of your responsibilities is to proactively secure the network. If a system intrusion is detected, you are to act accordingly.
You have some details about the Acme network: it comprises Microsoft Windows servers (2000 and 2003) and Linux servers; the workstations are mostly XP, but there are also Linux and Mac workstations used; they have email, web servers, and wireless access at headquarters, the warehouse, and the homes of the executives.
