Work done by the gas on the bullet based problem

A bullet of 115-g is fired from a rifle encompassing a barrel 0.606 m long. Select the origin to be at the location where the bullet starts to move. Then the force (in Newton) applied by the expanding gas on the bullet is 15900 + 9000x - 23750, where x is in meters.

(i) Find out the work done by the gas on the bullet as the bullet moves the length of the barrel.

(ii) When the barrel is 0.96 m long, Determine how much work is completed?

(iii) Determine how does this value contrast with the work computed in part (i)?
