Work done and acceleration

Question 1: A plane begins from rest and travels 800m down a runway in 14 seconds. Find out the acceleration of the plane?

Question 2: A ball is thrown upward into the air it accelerates at 9.81m/s2 down, find out its velocity when its displacement is 13m up is 8.30m/s up. Also find out what was its initial velocity?

Question 3: Sisiphus was sentenced by Zeus to roll a large rock up a hill for all eternity. If the rock has a mass of 200 kg and the hill is angled at 18o how much work does Sisiphus do in the first 800m (up the hill) of his sentence (it will raise its vertical height by 247.21m in this time)?

Question 4: Wile E. Coyote is on a set of rocket powered roller skates. His mass is 38.0 kg. If he begins from rest and reaches a speed of 95m/s, how much work did the rocket do?

Question 5: A rock rolls down a 35m long hill angled at 250. If the mass of the rock is 10kg, how much work is done by the force in rolling the rock? (Assume that Friction is not a factor.)

Question 6: A truck is travelling at 10.5m/s and has a mass of 1800kg. The driver bangs on the brakes and skids to a stop. How much work is done in stopping the truck?
