Problem: I need to response to this discussion post including a question: Women don't consciously choose to have an abusive partner. In fact, the abuser may be charming and well-liked by most of the people who know him, but at home he shows a different side. Friends, family, and colleagues are often shocked when his abusive behavior becomes known. In the beginning, it may also be a shock to the abused woman. Do you agree or disagree?
