The EEO related laws caused organizations to look for experts...HR....to make sure that the laws were being followed in the organization and that the organization would stay out of trouble. With all of the laws everything that HR touches has become more complex...as you mention..compensation, benefits, etc. Now HR is a serious player in the organization and it is time to be more of a business partner...public or private sectors. What can HR do to move forward and stay out of the back room?
