Instructions: Apply operations management ideas to real-world scenarios. This course will allow you to start constructing an operation management strategy by writing a paper on a company concept of your choice. As your business, you may start a retail sales operation, an internet service like tuition, or a personal service like lawn care, or pet grooming. Use the material from Unit 1 to help you select what parts will be covered and explain why you chose particular decisions in detail. When preparing your paper, you should do research and consult at least four scholarly sources (i.e. textbooks, scholarly articles from a peer-reviewed journal, etc.)
As you write the paper, make sure to address the following topics:
1. Will the company be business-to-business or business-to-consumer?
2. Will the business create a product, provide a service, broker information, sell items, or distribute things for others?
3. Will the business provide a single product or service, or a variety of goods and services?
