Professor Huang teaches operations management at State University. He is scheduled to give his class of 35 students a final exam on the last day of exam, and he is leaving town the same day. He is concerned about his ability to finish grading his exams. He estimates that with everything else he has to do he has only five hours to grade the exams. From past experience he knows the first exam will take him about 12 minutes to grade. He estimates his learning curve to be about 90%, and it will be fully realized after about 10 exams.
