Leith connects the beginnings of rhetoric to the culture of the present. Your job is to discuss why you think it is important that we know--specifically--about the historical figures and facts he shares. If rhetoric, the documented art of persuasion, is an almost 3,000-year-old tradition, what can we learn from its origins?
