Create and submit your elevator speech.
The elevator speech should be approximately 500 words and is geared toward academics and the Capella University community of learners, including fellow students, faculty, and Capella staff and support teams.
It is suitable to use as an introduction during your first Capella residency. Using appropriate tone and level of detail for this audience, make sure your speech includes the following information:
• Why you are in this degree program (DIT Information Technology)
• What you hope to get out of the program
• How successful completion of the program will help you meet your personal and professional goals and advance your career
• What is "cool" about this program, as explained from one tech person to another
#2) Discussion

To prepare for this Discussion:
• Create a program plan using your tool of choice, such as Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, or OpenProject.
• In your plan, identify major program milestones and your projected dates or deadlines to complete them. Identify which upcoming residency you plan to attend.
• List personal and professional events you anticipate during your program that may interfere with your milestones and deadlines. Such events may include a family vacation, a high-profile work project, or the addition of a new family member.
Explain any potential challenges you may face in completing your program milestones according to your plan. Then, explain how you might overcome those challenges.
