Why use moody chart and manual iteration

Gasoline is being discharged from a pipe at point 2 at elevation 66.66 m. Pint 1, located 965.5 m along the pipe from point 2, is at elevation 82.65 m, and the pressure there is 2.50 kPa. If the pipe roughness is 0.500 mm, what pipe diameter is needed to discharge gasoline ( ?= 7.05 kN/m3, µ = 2.92x10-4Ns/m2, ? = 719 kg/m3) at a rate of 0.10 m3/s? Solve this problem using two different approaches.

1) Use Moody chart and manual iteration (Answer: Q = 0.1394 ft3/s),

2) Use Colebrook equation and any kind of software tool such as Mathcad, excel or a programmable calculator.
