Option II: The starting point for the integration of sustainability policies in organisations arose from the aim of social and environmental considerations into economic strategy. In addition to that, there have been calls for more business intervention on social and cultural issues.
Drawing on relevant academic literature, write an essay discussing why there has been a shift in recent times towards a greater role for the social and cultural elements of sustainability.
