Topic Pick a social/political issue that you care about. Some examples:

Incarceration
Student Loans
Public Education
Describe the issue you have selected and explain why society should be concerned with this issue.
Then, use one of the topics we have covered in class (interest groups, the pluralist model, media, political participation, bureaucracy, etc.) to develop a political/policy strategy to address this concern.
In your paper, make sure to mention what level of government (national, state, local) you will focus on, and explain why?
Describe the objectives of your plan, and if successful, how will the outcome of your strategy address the issue.
