Quality improvement plays a crucial role in professional nursing. There are several different ways to approach a quality issue, but why should we work to achieve standardization in our processes? As you complete your assigned readings and lesson, think about how the use of a structured process, such as DMAIC methodology, can impact results of a quality improvement project perhaps even your own nursing care issue.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
