When the school and families work together, children have significant growth in their social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Strong partner with family and school helps children feel supported, understood and ready to learn. We believe that families are essential partners in decision-making and advocacy. When families feel respected and heard, children are more likely to succeed in school and beyond. PTA National Standards # 3: Supporting Student Success This standard emphasizes the importance of families and educators working together to support children at school and at home. We will share our curriculum, learning goals, and the students' progress with their families. We will encourage families to support learning at home.
