The image is attached below tells us a lot about what most of the people think about space exploration. They think that it is a total waste of money, resources and time. But if we look at the last words of this picture, they mean a lot. It is very necessary to keep going forward and use technology available to us for the betterment of mankind.
What if our ancestors have not explored different regions, resources of earth? I am sure we will not have achieved whatever we have acheived now so far.
Picture itself gives answer to the importance of space exploration. We must continue to go further in this field because resources of earth are limited and it cannot sustain us for too long.
We need to limit burden on earth and for that we need to keep exploring. Keep looking for better resources, keep looking for alternatives, substitutes and what not.
