The media doesn't represent people with disabilities in the best light, and if anything, it seems to be brushed off as if it isn't as crucial to recognize and give them the push to strive within their career paths and their immense effort to get to where they are without their disabilities limiting their future and their daily tasks. Maybe, in this generation it is talked about, but I feel as though it isn't brought up enough since there's an awkward barrier I feel with the topic. Anyone who is going through any disability affecting them physically, mentally, or more, they face obstacles alone and they are aware that they face these obstacles and they have the will to fight them and be the best versions of themselves. Workplaces, classrooms or any surrounding environment they want to be able to feel inclusive to be able to accomplish tasks and assignments just as anyone else, however they can only do as much as what they are able to compared to others and that's where they feel defeated and vulnerable. Fear and frustration starts to build up and becomes more of an obstacle to face. In order to fight the barrier, we must come to understanding each individual and get to know them and their disabilities, and give them their individual plan. A plan that suits each person to grow and be able to do tasks and not let their disabilities be in their way if their drive and focus, while encouraging an uplifting and motivating spotlight. That way, we touch base with the communities and help out with challenges and create an ambitious goal to share everyone's stories and motivate each other? Building such a strong community for each other.
