Problem
We see the development of Mesopotamia. It is a large group of related but distinct cultural entities. Many of these cultures built large, pyramidal shaped structures for specific purposes. They are not burial sites (as we'll see was the case in Ancient Egypt). Briefly talk about the kinds of ceremonies performed at these "ziggurats" and why they might have built them in the shape they did.
