This homework examines the Stuxnet virus in the context of today's geopolitical realities. As a backgrounder, you may want to visit this youtube video "Dissecting Stuxnet". Then, view the short (5 minute) "60 Minutes" youtube video interview regarding this historic act of espionage ("60 Minutes" investigates cyber-warfare). Submit a paper - no more than two pages, addressing the following questions.
1. Why is the Stuxnet event considered to be historic?
2. What is a danger that the creators of Stuxnet have created for other industrial countries, including the United States? What is the greatest fear created by Stuxnet?
3. Why are people (agents) needed "on the ground" in order for the Stuxnet virus to work?
4. Why did Iran, and American commentators, not consider Stuxnet an act of war?
