Many firms offer employees various "perks" for working for their firm. Often times these benefits are in the form of discounts at restaurants, movie theaters, zoos, museums, etc. You collect data and estimate the following hedonic wage function W = 20 - 2Z where w is earnings and z is the number of discounts. Is the function consistent with the theory we presented about job characteristics?
