Why is it wise for a project manager to obtain a proposal

1. Describe a project of interest to you. Explain how the concept of a “Seller Proposal” (see Project Management Institute, 2013, p. 562) would apply to this project. Include a detailed description of the three major sections of a “Seller Proposal” included in the PMBOK® Guide definition, and examples of information that would be contained in each section for your selected project.

2. Why is it wise for a project manager to obtain a proposal from several potential suppliers whenever it is possible to do so?

3. What is an example of a project situation you can think of, or find through internet research, in which only one supplier would be requested to provide a proposal?

4. Provide clear, concise, focused, and well-documented responses.
