Why is it so important to his political theory in general?
What might be the political implications or consequences of opposing views of property (i.e. "there is no right of private property at all, and the government owns it all" vs. "the right of private property is absolute, and no government may take it for any reason whatsoever").
Week 5B Discussion: Revolution
What kinds of government action should lead to revolution, according to Locke, and which should not?
What other ways can a government be opposed (other than a revolution).
Consider the American Revolution. Would Locke have approved? (Ignore the fact that Locke was an Englishman).
