Why is employee buy-in so important

Problem: Why is employee "buy-in" so important? Has there ever been a time you have had to face an unwanted, employer driven change, but ultimately you had to accept that if you wanted to keep your job, you had to conform to the new policy or procedure?  Explain (4) to me why you didn't like or you disagreed with the policy. Now for the PI part, what would you in writing a reflection (5) as an employee, the person ACTUALLY doing the work, would have changed about the policy to get the employee buy-in.

Defend (5) your stance on this decision, by answering the following three questions.

  • Was it the policy/procedure?
  • Was it the presentation?
  • Was it a timing issue?

If you could "turn back time", what would YOU have done, to execute (3) the change to make the new policy a success?
