Nursing Problem
A. Review the topic of Critical Thinking in your course resources (course textbooks and ATI text).
B. Read the article, Critical Thinking: The Development of an Essential Skill for Nursing Students.
C. Create a discussion post and address all the of the following:
a) Why is critical thinking important in nursing practice?
b) Why is developing critical thinking and clinical judgment in nursing school important?
c) Using nursing resources (course texts, ATI texts, and/or scholarly nursing journals) identify at least 3 strategies that will promote your development of critical thinking and clinical judgment.
d) For each strategy, provide a rationale of why this strategy will be beneficial to you. Consider your learning style, generation, any personal strengths/weaknesses and/or any personal struggles/barriers.
The response must include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
