Your essay should be at least five (5) substantive paragraphs, but can go much longer if you want. “Substantive” means your paragraphs are longer than one or two sentences. You want to provide some substance, some depth, some context to explain the point you are making in that paragraph.
Your essay should address the assigned questions above. It should an introductory thesis paragraph in the beginning (i.e., what is the overall point you are trying to make?) and several paragraphs that support your overall point. It should also include a concluding paragraph that summarizes everything you have previously stated in the essay.
You are being judged on your ability to offer an opinion and defend it. Simply repeating what you read is not good enough. Answer the essay question y writing what you think and then explain why you came to that conclusion.
