Assignment Task: This video, created several years ago discussing the problems women were having with Essure birth control.

Think about both the physician's role and the patient's role when you're thinking about concepts such as morals, values, autonomy, nonmaleficence, malfeasance, beneficence, justice, and other concepts covered this semester, and how they play a role in this issue.

Question 1: Describe why the Essure procedure is considered a bioethical ethical issue.

Question 2: Recall the principles of liability (theories of liability) that applies to this issue, and discuss how one of them applies. 

Question 3: Recall the various Discovery processes and how information can be gathered about these cases and discuss one way. 

Question 4: Identify three (3) ethical concepts relevant to the video. Define each concept, analyze the issue, and discuss how each is relevant to the video and the legislative outcomes. 

Question 5: Based on these concepts, if the recent legislation created justice for these women, and why or why not.
