You will reconstruct her research question and the conceptual framework that she built around her research question to see how a professional sociologist views the social world.

• What are the author's main research questions? Be specific and use sociological language.
• Why does food play such a key role in Clergé's ethnography?
• In Village Market, the author introduces the sociological concepts theories that guide this research. Summarize Clerge's views on racial capitalism, assimilation, and segmented assimilation.
