Discussion Post: Bullying and Incivility in Nursing Practice
• Have you experienced or witnessed any bullying or incivility during your previous employment or nursing education? If so, give just a brief outline of the situation. Give example and personalize it.
• From your readings, present your personal idea of why bullying and incivility or such issues in healthcare.
• How do you think you would react if you were in different stages of the Benner's Model (i.e. how do you think you would react being a novice nurse versus an expert nurse?).
• Why do you think this problem cannot be stopped?
