Discussion Forum: Renaissance
Choosing artists for public commissions based on competition is very similar to our current job market, where there are often more candidates than jobs available. I know as college students, job hunting is forefront in your mind! Think about how you are working to become a strong candidate in your field to compete in this challenging job market, and compare some of your experiences with what you think these Renaissance artists went through. Based on the artwork, do you think the best candidate got the job? Why or why not? Do you have insight on what this process feels like, and did you learn anything in that process? (IT is my job search market.)
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
