• Read the linked article on women's roles in Mesopotamian culture. Why do you think gender roles were so different even within the first known civilization? Was there a specific detail in the article that stood out to you and why?
• Do you think the government (any government) should endeavor to create a true melting pot with its population sharing the same language, culture, and way of thinking? Remember a melting pot is different than a tossed salad metaphor! Explain your answer. Refer to Chaldea/Babylon at some point in your answer. Remember they attempted to do that in their empire.
