Problem
There are many ways to think about "culture", especially corporate culture, but I want you to think of it like this: "It's the way we do things around here and the reason we do things that way." The reason part is the one that most of us miss because we were not there when those norms were established, thus we frequently fail to understand them. However, those norms do become apparent if they become a problem. The news is never short of examples of organizations with a rotten culture. Please go find an example of this in the popular business press (Forbes, Fortune, Business Insider, Motley, etc.) and post up the link here. Why do you think became the norm at this organization? How would you go about trying to change the culture at this organization?
