Why do you have the stance you do

Problem

According to the CAATE 2020 standards, Athletic Trainers (ATs) are permitted to administer medication such as glucagon, insulin, nitroglycerine, naloxone, and epinephrine. Other research suggests that intravenous fluids be used to respond to several different emergency medical conditions.

Let's talk about whether ATs you may be working with should, or should not, be able to establish intravenous access and administer IV fluids. Why do you have the stance you do? Are there any criteria or trainings that you think should be in place?
