The composition of Congress plays an important role in the passing of any policy. The policy making process involves the joint working of the executive and the legislatures and policy makers often try to determine what a policy is accomplishing or if it is being carried out effectively. Example, Healthy Food for young children and adult care food program (CACFP) and Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act that was put in place by President Obama administrator.
