After reading the article, I was able to understand the 4 advantages that 5G services could resolve within an enterprise and what makes it so important in network and technology. Besides associating 5G to phones because of advertisements and such, I didn't think much of what else it could offer like in enterprises. The advantages of 5G services mentioned in the article were fixed costs, turnup times, topography, and performance. The advantages that stood out to me and were the most interesting were: fixed costs, turnup times (installation) and topography. Because according to the article, 5G services will offer "hybrid pricing" meaning that organizations can bundle 5G with WAN and prioritize network traffic so that data backup will not interfere with business traffic. So a network with a 5G service can transport any additional data traffic at a lower data rate depending on the monthly fixed cost, so I can only imagine what the actual amount that enterprises have to pay for WAN services is.
Next, the second advantage is turnup times or installation, a common WAN challenge is long turnup times, in the article it says that installing services through MPLS or Carrier Ethernet could take from hours to even days, but with 5G the installation process would be instant. The latency for 5G is greater than 1 millisecond, lower latency comes with faster download speeds and it maxes up to 10 Gbps.
Finally, the last advantage would be topography. I found this point to be really beneficial because with 5G you'd be able to connect anywhere from whichever location, it will be especially beneficial for remote offices, data centers, etc.
